Having the ability to maintain and store RNA samples can be challenging for some laboratories. They are usually forced to freeze and thaw the samples over and over during the course of the research. This issue can now be avoided altogether with GenTegra-RNA.
GenTegra-RNA allows researchers to store RNA samples at room temperature without ruining the integrity of the sample. The freeze/thaw method becomes obsolete, and in turn, so does the risk of sample contamination. This app note reviews the performance of GenTegra-RNA in an experiment conducted by the University of Minnesota; managing purified RNA samples derived from feline and canine tumor cell lines.
